I want to hear what people think the best academic path is to become a Data Scientist.

Personally, I already know I’m going to get a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics and go for a MS in Data Science afterwards. Since I’m not in the field yet, I can’t say the path I’m taking is the best, so what do you guys think is the best academic path to get into data science?
