Introducing the designs for the IBM Quantum System Two, the world’s first modular and 100% customizable quantum computing system. The System Two will contain a three-tiered chandelier capable of housing 3 quantum processors - all held within its scalable, hexagonal cryostat. It’s also possible to link multiple System Two cryostats together, with long-range couplers connecting the quantum processors. Three System Two cryostats connected together will deliver as many as 16,632 qubits—far beyond the size of any quantum system available today. …
