IBM Watson NLU API inconsistencies

I'm testing the Watson NLU engine and it sure looks like it's not up to the task, even on the following simple case. Anyone have suggestions on an engine that can provide a better sentiment analysis?

**Test 1** (gives a sentiment value I expect)
