I have been in a couple of DS selection process in which I was asked to solve a practical test. The thing is that they ask me to "create a model" given a dataframe (for instance) and questions from business side. When they ask specifically about a "model", are they always asking me to use a ML model that solves the problem (in order to check my skills with ML)?
