Messing up shots on purpose, for science

During an online discussion, there was a suggestion that intentional channeling may not always have the effect of decreasing extraction yield. So I decided to try to repeat an experiment and cause some intentional channeling. Then I could take a look at taste and extraction yield.

I started with a normal puck, and then I used a toothpick to make a hole in the puck after tamping.
