Hi all! I'm trying to forecast a daily time series that has many 0 days. For example, forecasting a person's daily expenditure for every day for the next N days. Customer's expenditure as one would expect has many days with 0 spend.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar time series problem?

If yes, what methods would you recommend and also what metrics would be useful in this case to measure the success of a model.
