Is it normal to provide take home assignment and ask again similar question in the final round of interview??

I recently got rejected after multiple rounds of interview. After talking with recruiter and hiring manager company moved forward and provided take home coding challange assignment. It was all SQL questions from Hackerrank.com and I got the correct answers. Then they moved forward to talk with 4 other team members. Recruiter specifically told me that it will be behavioural questions so I got prepared accordingly which went well. But then very last person that Intalked to started asking SQL question …
