Is it reliable to use a binary classification CNN to determine human or not-human?

I've been experimenting a ton with different CNN structures and training data. I'm trying to create a CNN that needs to be able to determine whether the image contains a human or not. I compiled a dataset from multiple datasets online, with the complete dataset being around 300k images.
