Is it worth spending time creating my own NLG model?

Hi, to give you some context I'm thinking of a final year project and I can't really think of any ideas except for text generation based on some description. My idea is for a model to generate sentences based on some description that a user provides and after each sentence the user will decide whether or not to generate a new one based on whether or not they like the sentence / fits into the context.
