Is there a thread about AI vs UBI?

The narrative was always "Robots will work for us so we have more free time"

But the reality is "Robots will save tons of money to big corporations and increase profits"

In the meantime, people will get fired and poorer.


Is there a conversation about Taxing robotic and AI systems so it can improve the lives of everybody?
Asking as I haven't found anything like that.
