Is there any way to use YOLO without saving input data as jpg and txt files?

I have images and bounding boxes in the form of Numpy arrays but YOLOv5 wants images as jpg and labels as txt files. To do this I have to save all of my Numpy label arrays as new txt files and then convert the image arrays into JPG and then save those as files too. This just feels so inefficient.
