Is this the right explanation for "why a strong predictor found out from a Tree ensemble models may not be statistically significant in Regression model" question?

The way I understand this is that statistical significance isn't an indicator of predictive strength. It just tells us the coefficient is non zero with a level of confidence but predictive power from tree models tell us there's a strong association between the feature and target.
