Junior data scientist, what are you missing from senior data scientist/leadership?

Personally, I'd like a more guidance on projects. I'm a month into an internship, and I've had less than an hour of 1-on-1 time with my manager, and I'm working on a task in a domain I'm unfamiliar with (NLP).
