Hi, I want to know something about the latency of dilated convolutions. I test the conv with kernel\_size 3, dilation d and the equivalent kernel\_size 2 \* d - 1 in pytorch. The results show that the latter is alway faster. Why? The dilated convolution has less computation and memory access.

access computation convolution deeplearning faster kernel latency memory pytorch results show something test
