Your report on the local elections (8 May) says that the Labour party has “banished the demons of Brexit and Jeremy Corbyn’s time as leader” and that voters are returning to the fold, on less than a 40% turnout. As a Labour-voting remainer, can someone tell me what the “demons of Brexit” are?
