Mathematics from Sudoku to Science with Fred Simons: Live with the Academic Outreach Team

In this stream, the academic outreach team will be talking with Professor Fred Simons, who studied at the University of Amsterdam, taught at the Eindhoven University, and served on the Dutch Education Committee for Mathematics. He regularly presents courses on Mathematica, stressing computational understanding. They will discuss designing mathematical materials for students, his Mathematica paclet on Sudoku, and other ways that a computational outlook lets us explore the beauty in mathematics.
