Microsoft and Intel nail down what an "AI PC" is, Copilot to run locally soon on PCs

At Intel's recent AI summit in Taipei, the company informed Tom's Hardware that Windows PCs will soon leverage Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to run Microsoft's Copilot AI assistant locally. This is the first confirmation of rumors that emerged regarding Copilot and increasingly prevalent NPUs late last year.
