This year has been great for text-to-image models, but given that SoTA models like DALL-E 2 and Imagen depend on the recent advances in Diffusion Models, there seems to be a relative lack of good resources on building these models.

**I created** [**MinImagen - a minimal Imagen implementation**](https://www.assemblyai.com/blog/build-your-own-imagen-text-to-image-model/) **- to fill this gap**. It includes a thoroughly commented repository and the above linked associated article, and is intended to help elucidate how Imagen (and related models) work internally.
