Currently work as an ML Engineer with a focus on Deep Learning/Computer Vision at a mid-tier company in the Bay Area. I've had this role for about a year and a half.

My job mostly involves reading through papers to find models to solve our problems, modifying open-source code, and creating/running model training/experimentation pipelines. There's definitely scope for me to conduct real R&D, but I have to admit I'm not at that level.
