MLE in need of a new laptop -- advice, please [Discussion][Advice]

I work as an MLE in an academic setting and I am looking at getting a new laptop for my ML work. we have some PCs in the office with decent GPU/CPU/Ram that is generally used for large biological/chemical data and VR development. I do not always need this much heft.

Does anyone have any feedback on a decent laptop. I have been looking at a [Lambda Tensorbook](https://lambdalabs.com/deep-learning/laptops/tensorbook/customize), but would also like to have other views.
