Modify Similarity Function Multi Object Tracking

New to Multi Object Tracking. I am trying to modify this so it can compare the original RGB values of "img1" and "img2"

I have tried using things along the lines of "*new\_img1 = cv2.cvtColor(img1, cv2.COLOR\_BGR2RGB)*" to no success. Only to be met with a ton of errors. Have not found anything online to help me so far.

Any guidance or pointers would be GREATLY appreciated.
