Is a BA in data science from the University of Southern California sufficient to start a data science career, or is it worth $75K (ballpark) and one additional year to get an MS through the progressive degree program? No student debt for undergraduate but scholarship does not cover masters work. Two younger siblings so parent support is depleted and it will require loans. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
