Online Free Courses

I have recently got in touch with a data scientist and machine learning engineer and he told me that IBM courses are one of the best out there for data Science and Machine learning, but when i looked it up on this sub many people commented that these courses are outdated and a waste of time. So what should i take regarding free courses for DS and ML, keep in mind that im a computer science sophomore.
