[P] Does Google sunset their off-the-shelf models as well as their apps?

I've been looking into semantic search recently for a personal project and I came across the Google Cloud Platform "Gecko" embedding model which looks like it would be able to allow me to find similar products by comparing how similar their descriptions are.
