[P] Hand written text to text project - asking for hints

Hello everyone,
I have a friend that has his own business and he often tells me how much times he wastes by manually transcribing the billing slip from hand written paper to a document on his pc.
I'm not a professional, I'm still studying, but I was wondering if I could apply some transfer learning using an already trained model and then use new data in order to do so.
