[P] Lip reading from video; Master Thesis; IDEAS?

Hello experts,

I'm looking for any idea/paper for my master thesis, which I'd like to work on lip reading from video.

Opening Google Scholar gives a very vast ideas that one can easily get lost. If it's an interesting paper, I get afraid that it would be too heavy for such a project.

Therefore I'd like to ask for your opinion/suggestion!
