Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with using ML for extracting hand-written data from tables that have been scanned in.

Specifically, this is scientific data for environmental contamination that is written in field sheets using pen (not an ideal system, but its what we have to work with).

My colleague has tried a few pre-trained models that performed quite poorly, so we're looking for some tips from anyone who has tackled this kind of task before.

Huge thanks!
