People who chose not to work at FAANG, what was the reason?

Hi folks, there are apps like Blind out there where there's an obsession to get into FAANG, no matter what role you're in. However, on this sub I don't see that as much. Looking at yearly salary review post, not a lot of people on this sub are working at FAANG. I'm pretty sure many of those are very capable of getting into those companies but obviously chose not to.
