Question to Data Science hiring managers. Would you hire someone with 5+ yoe as traditional DS role from an nonprofit with unrelated degree from a no name state college?

That's my profile. I have been reaching out to hiring managers and applying Sr. DS posts but haven't been getting much traction. But, got some quick traction with hiring managers for BIE/DE type roles. My suspicion is it's because of my unrelated degree and non-profit org that I work for are the main reasons.
