Hey data scientists, next semester I'm learning R for my studies econometrics (combination of mathematics, economics and data science), mostly for analysis of large data sets and for probability distributions etc.. Before I started my studies I always wanted to teach myself Python but it never really happened. So I wondered, is it easier to learn Python if I have made a start in R? Or is it completely different?
