Recommendation: Model for iOS app?

Hello,
I'm building a mobile app that uses feature vectors to identify similar images captured by different users of the app. The captured images are general in nature in the sense that they don't fit into any specific category (think of the type of stuff you'd see on Instagram).

Once a user has captured an image the distance is measured to the closest image using euclidian distance. We're still in private beta so less than 1000 images have been captured …
