Research Topic ideas

I am supposed to pick a topic for research for my Masters and my professors are very helpful in letting me pick any topic of my choice.

But the world of machine learning is sooo vast that i feel lost.
Topics that i select are either overwhelming and is not feasible in the timeframe (also beyond my current skill level) or are underwhelming which doesn’t add any value to the field of research.
