Salary for MLE with 2 YOE in UK?

Have 1.5 years of experience as data scientist and 0.5 years of experience as machine learning engineer. Graduated from top 2 uni in uk. Work in south east but outside of London.

Am I being underpaid at around £40,000 per year? Rent is very expensive and am struggling to save anything at the moment.
