Sharing datasets between languages/teams, is there a common format?

I will soon be working with a team, and everybody of us uses different languages -Python and R mostly, but I think there are a couple more that uses another ones-. **So I must ask if there is a way of storing a dataset with a common format that is easily readable from all languages that allows us to already have our variables coded.**
