Data Science www.reddit.com

Haven’t seen much discussion of it here. I am mentoring an aspiring DS. She hadn’t taken a math course in about 10 years. She read this book over the course of about a month, and after looking over it, I thought it was pretty good. It was a no fluff introduction to the algebra, calculus, linear algebra, statistics needed for basic DS.

Now of course this book wouldn’t make you a researcher, but it seemed like enough to be dangerous …
