Tidyverse for data wrangling; is it the tops?

I analyze ecological field data where each observation has a list of associated measurements (qualitative and quantitative) that must be formatted for various statistical models.

I was introduced to dplyr the same time I was introduced to R and I have not used much else. Today, I do all my data wrangling, cleaning, and organizing with tidyverse and it works great.
