I have a sensor which measures a parameter. The measurements create an oddly shaped PDF when I create a histogram. And it varies significantly depending on experimental input. So, each input setup yields a different pdf.

I’d like to use each pdf then to create fake data. I’ve read up about inverse cdf, but those all require mathematical formulae for the cdfs.
