In my two recent data science interviews the interviewer(s) has been extremely sceptical, picking apart everything I say, asking very difficult questions. Quite unpleasant to be honest.

Is this because they receive a lot of junk applicants and they develop this natural scepticism? Or is it part of the test, to see how I handle harsh criticism?
