Was hired to write a report but all the data is wrong.

A few months ago I got hired for my first real job in charge of writing a report for a real estate company. At first I thought it would be kind of easy, and in general it is. But the more I pore over the data, I realize it is all completely wrong, or leaves me with no way to check out if it's real or not.
