I started my PhD before the rise of LLMs, I am kinda stuck in between. I feel that I am obligated to include LLMs in my thesis somehow before defending it...Also, it is hard to say what is the scientific contribution brought by LLMs (not including all the foundation models brought by the big labels)
Wanted to hear your thoughts about it...Idk if this group has some phd folks here...
