Abstract: This paper examines the impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) on the creation and consumption of terminological definitions. GenAI tools like ChatGPT present a mix of benefits and drawbacks compared to traditional terminological resources. ChatGPT excels in providing context-specific meanings in an interactive and customized fashion but faces challenges with accuracy.
