Where would you get demographic/psychographic data on data scientists?

Not trying to be meta here. I'm working on a project to try and understand data scientists and it's impossible to find data.

Granted search terms are really hard (try searching "data" on "data scientists", it's not very fruitful). But I'm just wondering if you know a source which contains the basic stuff of demographics and some simple psychographic information?
