Working as in data science as an electrical engineering major

I am currently in my 4th year of Electrical Engineering. I do have a couple of software development internships under my belt.

What do I have to do to get a data science job? Is a masters in data science my only option? I cannot afford to do a masters for atleast the next 3 yrs.
