Aerospace Engineering Undergrad to Data Science Role

I am currently a Junior at Georgia Tech studying aerospace engineering. I am realizing that traditional aerospace jobs are not for me and I am looking into adjusting careers into the data science world. I am a big math guy, so I am most interested in the actual mathematical modeling and bringing in some machine learning/coding application as well. I am still new and trying to learn my options.
