I did my undergrad in "data science", which at this point doesn't feel like it's enough for this job market. Most roles I see require Master/PhD or many YOE now for a proper technical DS role. I did internships that were on the business and analytics side of DS, which were about making a "data narrative" to create impact, but it honestly felt like I was coming up with random stuff except with some numbers to support it.
