Background: Chemical engineering student with a CS minor; have only taken up to data structures and algorthims, so 3 c++ classes. A linear algebra class with python applications. Will try to take another cs class before the summer next semester (database systems).

What can I do in one month (winter break) to help prepare me for this role? What do you like to see from an Intern? I've been told they use python, SQL and VBA mostly.
