Computer Vision www.reddit.com

Dear community fellows.

Based on my reading so far, most of the papers on top conferences in computer vision research (ICCV, ECCV, CVPR) are about using really deep models or big datasets, which is really hard for personal contribution to follow up or reproduce the result on a single machine, which is my case. May I ask about the guidelines or tips to work on a problem that you feel interested in computer vision and want to contribute to it?
