I have to do an Azure Synapse project and teaching myself with online resources is fine, I can get these ebooks too, but once every 5 years or so I actually buy one of these fat books and read it. I think it's necessary again. My background isn't data science specific (mostly c# mid tier) so I'm in over my head (again) and it feels like big fat physical book time again.
