Computer specs - what is the baseline needed to be able to carry out ML/deep learning processes and code your own AI?

Hi. I’m new to this, very new. I’m just starting on my journey, but I’m going through data analysis, then I want to learn the ins and outs of data science and eventually graduate to ML and deep learning.

What computer spec would be good for me to have that will be future proof? I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with 16GB ram and i7 processor, will this suffice? Or is it worth me investing in a new machine that …
