Deep Learning Point Cloud Regression

I am doing a PhD and I would like to use point cloud data (X, Y, Z coordinates) to predict forest biomass. This is a regression task (i.e., multiple input points, a single output value). However, based on my initial research, almost all point cloud deep learning applications are applied to classification problems (e.g., is this point cloud a chair or a stool, etc. etc.).
